The Islamic Cultural Center in Madrid draws its inspiration from the rich history of Andalusian architecture, particularly from the architectural elements of Cordoba, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The design incorporates sloping roofs, a central courtyard, horse-shaped pointed arches, and traditional Islamic motifs. These features collectively create an atmosphere that evokes the spirit of the ancient Islamic civilization that once flourished in Andalusia. This nostalgic design pays homage to the golden era of Islamic history in Spain, bringing elements of its cultural legacy into the modern day.
