The design of the GCC Secretary General’s Building Complex strikes a balance between solidity and openness, creating a modern architectural form that also honors Bahrain’s traditional architectural heritage. The upper openings of the building are inspired by the abstract form of the “Bajers” style, while the tower’s design echoes the traditional wind towers once used in Gulf houses. This harmonious blend of modernity and heritage reflects the cultural identity of the region and underscores the values of cooperation and communication among GCC countries.
